About Eileen
Eileen – Award winning author- She enjoys writing fun and fascinating stories full of adventures. In between, she travels to wonderful places around the globe where she finds great stories that will make fabulous books for kids.
Many books are about the natural wonders of our world, from mountains to beaches and rivers to canyons. Some are about the amazing cultures of different lands and the history that helped make our states, nation and world. And some are fun- filled books with unique characters that children love.
Eileen grew up in New Jersey in a
home filled with books and where
there were always stories.
And then there were libraries
and working at writing at universities,
critique groups and workshops.
It’s a lot of fun!
Eileen graduated from Skidmore College and has a MPA from NYU. She has worked with many organizations for children, including museums, schools, sports, scouts, and tutoring programs and has been involved with historic preservations for numerous local and national sites, including George Washington’s Mount Vernon and the Washington Assn. of NJ. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the Professional Writers Critique Group.
